In addition to providing grants for local organizations, the Chileno Bay Foundation collaborates with other area nonprofits and local businesses to create community projects that solve community challenges and needs. From providing dignified transportation for children needing life-saving medical treatments to providing food assistance for families during the COVID crisis, your Chileno Bay Foundation is helping lead the way towards a conscious community that takes care of its own.
CHILDREN'S HEALTH BUS PROJECT
The Teleton Bus Project provides a critical service for hundreds of Los Cabos Children. Teleton, one of Mexico’s largest nonprofits, specializing in rehabilitation centers called CRITs, is operating the program with the support of the El Dorado Foundation, the Chileno Bay Foundation and Los Cabos Children’s Foundation.
COVID RESPONSE INITIATIVE
COVID has hit our community hard. A large percentage of the workforce is unemployed and 50,000 families in Los Cabos don’t have the basic resources to purchase food. It’s a big problem, but it is NO match for the level of resources and generosity here. YOU can make the difference.
